30th Jubilee information

PROGRAMME

Friday 20th October 2006
‘Meet and greet’ evening (7pm-late) Gisborne Civic Bandrooms, Childers Rd, Gisborne.
Wine and cheese served (or beer if preferred), commemorative glass (wine or beer) with first fill complimentary. Full cash bar open. Partners welcome to attend with payment.

Saturday 21st October 2006
‘Re-United Day’ (12pm-3pm) A day to get together at Anzac Park with all the family to enjoy some fun and games. For the younger ones a bouncy castle, pony rides and motorbike rides. For the grown-ups social 6-aside games. BBQ will be going for lunch and chilly bin for refreshments, cash required. Please indicate on registration if you want to play 6 aside.

‘Jubilee celebration dinner’ (6pm-late) Irish Rover (upstairs) Peel St.
Join us for the evening to celebrate 30 years of this great footballing and family club. A buffet meal will be served. Full cash bar. A visual presentation will be made featuring some of the great moments in our history and some fun ones. Also some informal speakers and an open invite to take the floor and share some memories with all. Partners welcome.

At both Friday and Saturday night events photos and various memorabilia will be on display.
At all events there will be a sale table with commemorative items available for purchase. Credit card payments will be available.

Sunday 22nd October the famous Gisborne Wine and Food festival takes place, so if you’re coming from out of town and want to make a weekend of it and enjoy local wine and cuisine, book early for this as it is always a sell out. Tickets on sale July (contact Gisborne i-site information centre for more details).

If you are unable to attend but would like to share some memories with us send a telegram or email, and these will be read out at the Jubilee dinner.
