2007 - yet another season rolls around, AGM was held on 21st January thanks to those who attended it is much appreciated to have input and opinion of other members.
Our major goal of this early pre-season is to once again try to establish a team to play in Eastern league division one, having only teams in second and third divisions last year for the first time in 30 years was disappointing but we are doing our best to get back to where we belong. First thing we need is a coach so anyone interested make contact with a committee member.
This years committee was elected at AGM they are:
Chairman - Alan Knight (Bundy)
Treasurer - Chris Adams (Broken)
Secretary - Mel Knight
Molly Adams, Terry Knight, Laurence Fleming, Sally Stewart.

Other issues arising are clubrooms venue, we are looking at a change of venue, still in early stage will keep all posted on any progress. The committee felt lack of atmosphere and an over emphasis on rugby on tv were contributing factors to lack of support for the clubrooms, this year we hope to run more events nights at clubrooms, open immediately following games, on regular basis provide variations for the menu eg bbq, hot beef rolls etc. All registered members will get there first drink at the clubrooms free each week. And the Joker Jackpot will be up and running with good prizes from first week of competition.

Women's team numbers are looking good again, possibly two teams in the competition again this year to be assessed pre-season training.

Pre-season training for all teams to start mid February either Tues 13th or Thurs 14th. Players still wanted for all teams, especially those wishing to play 1st division. All welcome, school leavers and those from other clubs too. We offer cheapest subs in town and sign up a mate you'll receive an extra bonus.
